Advanced course - 21st edition innovation, growth and international production. Models and data analysis

The 21th edition of the Advanced Course on Innovation, Growth, International Production. Models and Data Analysis will take place at the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome from 25 to 29 May 2026.

The Course is organized by Sapienza University of Rome, University of Urbino Carlo Bo and Scuola Normale Superiore, in collaboration with Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Marche Polytechnic University and Roma Tre University. It is intended for Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers and young scholars.

The course covers a wide range of topics, including innovation, artificial intelligence, growth, global value chains, and structural change. It integrates theoretical lectures with presentations of empirical research and practical sessions using Stata software. This year, the course will also feature speeches by Giovanni Dosi (Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies), Enrique Fernandez Macias (Joint Research Center – European Commission), Giorgia Giovannetti (University of Florence) and Livio Romano (Cassa Depositi e Prestiti).
