MULTIPURPOSE DATA-ANALYSIS TO DETECT FIRM-LEVEL CAPABILITIES AND THEIR REACTIONS TO SHOCKS
Evidence from cross-countries studies

ROME | 27th April 2023

Sapienza University of Rome | Faculty of Economics
Via del Castro Laurenziano 9, Roma | Sala Lauree, 2nd floor, Palazzina della Presidenza

The workshop aims at comparing the results obtained across countries in the detection and analysis of firms’ organisational and productive strategies, using multi-purposes questionnaires.
The integration of quantitative and qualitative information makes it possible to analyse broad research fields, from firms’ reaction to economic crises to strategic investment plans, market strategies and the development of new inputs. The workshop will also present two works carried out as part of the Istat-SSSA joint research project on "The links between performance and strategic-organisational choices of enterprises: measurement and analysis" which ended in autumn 2022.
The occasion aims to facilitate future moments of comparison and collaboration of international, institutional and academic experiences.
