Advanced Course Innovation 2025

The 20th edition of the Advanced Course on Innovation, Growth, International Production. Models and Data Analysis, which will take place at the Faculty of Economics, Sapienza University of Rome from 26 to 30 May 2025.

 

The Course is organized by Sapienza University of Rome, University of Urbino Carlo Bo and Scuola Normale Superiore, in collaboration with Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Marche Polytechnic University and Roma Tre University. It is intended for Ph.D. students, postdoctoral researchers and young scholars. 

 

Delivered in English, the course covers a wide range of topics, including innovation, artificial intelligence, growth, global value chains, and structural change. It integrates theoretical lectures with presentations of empirical research and practical sessions using Stata software. This year, the course will also feature keynote speeches by Giovanni Dosi (Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies), Marta Gonzalez (UC Berkeley), Nobuya Haraguchi (UNIDO) and Francisco Louçã (University of Lisbon).
